Joining the Union
Once given an invite to the IUCC by the Presidency of the General Council, all member states must vote in favour of the invited state’s accession.
The General Council may also determine conditions of accession, including transitional arrangements or limitations on participation.
Membership takes effect upon all conditions of accession being met and upon the formal acceptance of Charter by the invited state in accordance with its internal procedures.
Withdrawal from the Union
Any member state may withdraw from the IUCC by submitting written notification to the President of the General Council. Formal withdrawal takes place within a period of time agreed by the President and the withdrawing member state.
